Our curriculum focuses on building social-emotional skills that ensure a solid foundation to cope with the challenges faced by students and educators. Cherisse Robinson, RYS 300

Cherisse Robinson is a certified meditation, stress management, and yoga teacher. For over a decade, she has employed a holistic approach in teaching self-care to students, families, educators, and many others.

She began practicing meditation in 1998 to strengthen her own well-being and blunt the stressors inherent in a 25-year career in corporate America. Today, inspired by her own personal journey, Cherisse leads both youth and professional classes and workshops that incorporate what she calls “SoulWork”:  a blend of meditation, reflection, somatic exercises and creative journaling to restore our bodies, and refresh our minds.

Cherisse is passionate about endeavors that unify the minds, bodies and souls of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and that connect mindfulness and yoga to all communities, whether at school, work or play.
